I went out first with my 5m sail and was pretty much overpowered. It was OK if I wasn't going for anything, but after a few forward llop attempts which got me nowhere and I decidd it was because I was too overpowered and o couldn't sheet in enough. I managed to land on top of my sail on one attempt and put a nice crease in one of the panels. The monofilm just stretched, but luckily didn't give way.

I then decided to change down to my 4.5m so that I wasn't so overpowered. The 4.5m was more comfortable, but on my first forward attempt with this sail I landed on top of it and creased a panel in that one as well... After that I just decided that I can't loop on starboard tack, and trying to will only become expensive! So I gave up with the loops and just blasted around getting some good jumps and wave-rides. After a couple of hours the wind started getting a bit holey and I started struggling to stay upwind, so I decided to call it a day.

A pretty good session really, although the lack of progress with the loops was a little dissapointing... Think I'll save them for Port tack only!
